PUBLIC ADVISORY FROM THE NATIONAL FIRE AUTHORITY

The National Fire Authority (NFA) wishes to advise members of the public that due to the network outage in many parts of the Northern Division our emergency line 910 is not working in the Northern Division currently.

Members of the public are advised to call on the numbers 8811322 and 7887271 for any emergency or rescue which will be directed to NFA. The calls made on the numbers are directly received at Labasa Emergency Evacuation Centre and are assigned to NFA for any emergency and recuse.

The National Fire Authority understands the urgent need for emergency number 910 by the members of the general public and is working with the relevant authorities to restore the emergency line.

We seek your assistance and patience at this time.

The NFA is again urging the general public to take heed of all necessary precautions and ensure that their homes and families are safe.

Everyone is urged to stay alert at all times and reminded to call on 8811322 and 7887271 in case of any fire incident, flood water rescue, height rescue, or any emergency that arises in the Northern Division.

The emergency line for Central/Eastern and Western Divisions are operational and the general public is requested to call on 910 for any emergency or recuse.
